NATURAL - ANTHROPOGENIC LANDSCAPE CHARACTERISTICS OF PHU YEN PROVINCE, VIETNAM

Structure, differentiation and dynamics are basic attributes of landscape in general, natural-anthropogenic landscape in particular. Structural features and dynamics of landscape show the interaction of the forming components as well as the landscape's response to external factors. Therefore, studying the structure and dynamics allows to forecast changes, self-adjustment and development trends of natural-anthropogenic landscape. Phu Yen is a territory with a high differentiation of natural and anthropogenic conditions, which is the basis for the formation of a system of natural-anthropogenic landscapes with high diversity, including 1 system, 1 subsystem, 3 classes, 5 subclasses, 9 types and 132 kinds of landscape. The highest diversity belongs to the landscape class of plain - valley with 2 subclasses, 4 types and 68 kinds. The mountain landscape class also has a high degree of differentiation of the low mountain and hill subclass with 2 types, 44 kinds; The subclass of mountain landscape has low diversity, with 2 types, 19 kinds. Landscape groups of planted forests and annual agricultural crops dominate the area and high diversity. The seasonal dynamics of Phu Yen's natural-anthropogenic landscapes are clearly reflected in the seasonal rhythms of the natural elements of the climate, hydrological and forest vegetation components and the seasonality of human activities, especially the seasonality of agricultural landscapes.
