INITIAL STUDIES ON PRODUCTION OF CAMOUFLAGE BODY PAINTS USING FOR COMMANDO SOLDIERS

This study presents results of initial studies on production of camouflage body paints for commando soldiers in cream form. The body camouflage creams are prepared in green, black and brown colours. Black cream is prepared from color extracts of Eclipta prostrata and of Boehmeria nivea leaves, adjuvants and water Green and brown creams are mixtures of Leaf Green CK or Brown CK, adjuvants and water. The creams have necessary stability and uniformity. The green cream showed no effect on rabbit skin, but the black and brown ones caused light irritation on it.
